Your 23 day/21 night adventure starts when you leave home for Denver !

Day 1: Fly into Denver, Colorado

Arrive in Denver.  You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel for an overnight stay in Denver.

Day 2: Denver

Breakfast will be at the 16th street mall, a pedestrian only section of the city center. Spend the entire day touring the city, which combines the mystery and romance of the Old West.Dinner will be at a restaurant such as Fogo de Chao or Rodizio Grill, Brazilian style steak houses with wide selections of spit cooked meat served directly to you at your table. Stay overnight at a Denver hotel.

Day 3: Denver to Wild Horse Mesa, San Luis Valley (210 miles)

After breakfast, your tour will depart early in the morning for Wild Horse Mesa. The drive will take you through beautiful southwestern Colorado along scenic US highway 285. You will arrive in the early afternoon at Dolomites Ranch where you will be greeted with a welcome drink, dinner and an evening campfire. After the sun sets you will be treated to a spectacular view of the Milky Way. You will stay overnight at Chalet Cristallo.

Day 4: Wild Horse Mesa to Taos (120 miles)

After breakfast, you will drive to Taos, New Mexico and spend a full day enjoying the city. Taos boasts typical New Mexican architecture, art galleries and quaint shops. In the afternoon, you will return to Dolomites Ranch for another gourmet meal and overnight stay at the Chalet.

Day 5: Wild Horse Mesa and Great Sand Dunes National Park (100 miles)

After breakfast, depart for your visit to Great Sand Dunes National Park. The Great Sand Dune is a magnificent sand dune at the foot of Mount Blanca formed naturally by wind and local streams. In the afternoon return to the Ranch for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Wild Horse Mesa - Dolomites Ranch

After breakfast, spend an entire day devoted to leisure and relaxation. Luxurious dinner and another magnificent overnight stay under the Milky Way.

Day 7: Wild Horse Mesa - Santa Fe, NM - Gallup (330 miles)

After breakfast, depart for Santa Fe, the capital city of New Mexico. Spend several hours enjoying its fabulous museums and beautiful art. After visiting Santa Fe, continue on to Gallup, New Mexico via Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Gallup.

Day 8: Gallup - Petrified Forest - Walnut Canyon - Sunset Crater - Wupatki - Cameron (290 miles)

After breakfast in Gallup, drive on into Arizona to visit the Petrified Forest located in Northeast Arizona near Holbrook, Arizona. The Petrified Forest is a vast desert area with petrified wood, animal and plant fossils can be found in large numbers. After your morning visit in the Petrified Forest continue on to Walnut Canyon National Monument, Sunset Crater, and Wupatki National Monument near Flagstaff, Arizona. Continue on to Cameron, Arizona where you will have dinner and spend the night

Day 9: Cameron - Grand Canyon - Williams (115 miles)

After breakfast, enjoy a beautiful drive through the Arizona desert to Grand Canyon National Park. The canyon was formed by the Colorado River slowly eroding soil and rock as it wended its way through the desert. The immensity of the canyon and beauty of its colors have made it one of the seven wonders of the natural world. Marvel at the grandeur of the canyon as you lean out over the extraordinary natural terrace called the South Rim. You can admire the canyon’s majesty from many different viewing points along the South Rim. After enjoying the awesomeness of the Grand Canyon, continue to Williams, Arizona for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Williams, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada (215 miles)

After breakfast, continue your trip through the desert and arrive in the early afternoon in the extraordinary oasis of Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas is the craziest city in the world! Enjoy an afternoon spent touring Las Vegas and then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11: Las Vegas - Zion - Grand Canyon North Rim (285 miles)

After your night in Las Vegas, enjoy breakfast and depart for Zion National Park, Utah. With colossal walls formed from red sandstone, a deep canyon and magnificent rock formations created by erosion. The waters of the Virgin River running through the park along with countless millennia of weather have eroded the desert plateau causing wounds in the limestone and creating the steep cliffs which today are called "temples". After enjoying Zion National park, your journey continues to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon where you will enjoy dinner and stay at a lodge inside Grand Canyon National Park.

Day 12: Grand Canyon North Rim - Cedar Breaks - Brian Head (160 miles)

After breakfast, you will enjoy the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The North Rim is a true marvel of Nature. As far as the eye can see, the silver ribbon of the Colorado River stretches along and highlights the rocky reddish hues of the canyon with its many fissures and layers clearly visible. Your tour continues to Cedar Breaks National Monument, where the “Circle of Painted Cliffs” creates a wonderful natural amphitheater. After this spectacular visit, continue on to Brian Head, Utah, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13: Brian Head - Bryce Canyon National Park - Capitol Reef – Hanksville, Utah (220 miles)

After breakfast, depart to visit Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. Bryce Canyon is one of the most beautiful natural parks of Utah. Its unmistakable spires vary in color, creating a unique play of colors and shadows. After this amazing view, continue on to Capitol Reef National Park, where huge slabs of rock varying in color between red and chocolate seem to be willing each other to form an immense canyon. A white sandstone summit makes the rocks seem like giant teeth turned to bite the sky. After visiting Capitol Reef, your trip continues on to Hanksville, Utah, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 14: Hanksville - Lake Powell - Natural Bridges - Monument Valley - Moab, Utah (280 miles)

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Powell, a man-made lake surrounded by spectacular red rocks. Lake Powell was created when Glen Canyon was flooded during the building of the Glen Canyon Dam. Glen Canyon Dam is a hydroelectric dam that produces enough electricity to power a city of a million and a half inhabitants. Your trip will continue as you are moved by ferry from the North to the South Rim. Afterwards, your trip continues as you visit Natural Bridges National Monument. In the afternoon, you will visit magnificent Monument Valley (Navajo Tribal Park of the Indians). Monument Valley was made famous worldwide as the scene of many a western movie. The red lights of sunrise and sunset emphasize the spectacular totem stones rising from the desert floor. After Monument Valley, continue on to Moab, Utah for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 15: Moab, Utah– Arches National Park – Canyonlands National Park – Moab, Utah (160 miles)

Day 15 will be spent around Moab, Utah. After breakfast, visit Arches National Park, where stone bridges and natural arches form windows in the rock and pinnacles of red and orange stones form fantastic shapes.   Afterwards, visit nearby Canyonlands National Park, a still partially unexplored area of the West. This park features high peaks, an Indian ghost town, steep gorges and vast plateaus. Dead Horse Point is one of the highlights of the day. The point is about 6000 feet above sea level and boasts a magnificent view of a great bend in the Colorado River.   At the end of the day, you will return to Moab for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 16: Moab, Utah - N. Colorado M. - Palisade - Black Canyon – Ouray, Colorado (200 miles)

After breakfast in Moab, you will depart to visit the Colorado National Monument and continue on with a visit to the vineyards in the Palisade area. Afterwards, you will visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National monument and then it is on to Ouray, Colorado for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 17: Moab, Utah to Wild Horse Mesa (270 miles)

After breakfast, you will begin the return trip to Wild Horse Mesa via Durango, Colorado. Dinner will be near Fort Garland, Colorado and you will return to Chalet Cristallo for your overnight stay.

Day 18: Wild Horse Mesa - Dolomites Ranch

After breakfast, spend an entire day devoted to leisure and relaxation. Luxurious dinner and another magnificent overnight stay under the Milky Way.

Day 19: Wild Horse Mesa - Royal Gorge Bridge - Canon City (200 miles) (optional)

After breakfast, you will leave for a visit to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Canon City via La Veta Pass. You will return in the afternoon for dinner and a relaxing evening at Dolomites Ranch

Day 20: Wild Horse Mesa to Bandelier National Monument (260 miles) (optional)

After breakfast, enjoy a day in Northern New Mexico visiting Bandelier National Monument located near Los Alamos, New Mexico. You will return to Dolomites Ranch for a wonderful dinner and overnight stay.

Day 21: Wild Horse Mesa - Dolomites Ranch

After breakfast, spend an entire day devoted to leisure and relaxation. Luxurious dinner and last magnificent overnight stay under the Milky Way.

Day 22: Wild Horse Mesa to Denver (210 miles)

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport in Denver to return home.

Day 23: Return home

The price of the Diamond Tour is 3,200 USD per person.
 This includes:
- 2 nights in Denver hotel, 10 nights in hotels during the tour and  9 nights at Dolomites Ranch.
- Full Breakfast and 3 courses Dinners with beverages included while at the Ranch; breakfast and dinner/beverages during the tour.
- A guide / driver who speaks English with you throughout the tour.
- Travel throughout the tour in a car or in a  7 seater minivan with air conditioning and equipped with every comfort.

- Your share of the rental car price, gasoline, a driver and guide to the parks, entrance to the parks.

- Use of the swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub at the Ranch are also included in the package price.
